OK. Finally got to finish Esther and Minnie's sequel. The journey continues! Again, an enjoyable read. Ester seems to have gotten a bit more belligerent towards Minnie this round but I imagine that sibs will get that way. Without creating a spoiler alert, can't wait for them to get to the states.Nice work Mr. Haughan. Looking forward to you research trip in America.

Peshwari Nans PartII One Giant Leap for Nankind follows the continuing adventures of two elderly arthritic sisterrs from England. Leaving India they continue on their journey. This book will make you laugh and make you cry. The situations they get themselves into!! You will realize that age is not a barrrier..if you believe you can then you can! I can't recommend this book highly enough!
Once again Stephen Haughan has written another delightful book about the Peshwari Nans in Part II One Giant Leap for Nankind! These two charming ladies in their vintage car get into the most delightful and scary predicaments. Their relationship is alway a moments by moment challenge;one sister, Esther, being more level headed and and Minnie who lives in the moment. They have a real love/hate relationship at times that all of us who really love each other do. You will not be disappointed, this story as the last one is full of delightful surprises.
I can hardly wait for the next book and their visit to America! The book cover art by Derick Mutch of Bravo Art is really great.
I so would love to see this series portrayed on Masterpiece Theatre.

Part two does not disappoint. Was wonderful to visit with the nans again, and looking forward to future editions!

This book will make you laugh and cry sometimes in the same breath...the Nans are such wonderful characters, makes me wish they were real.
