Over 20+ years of homeschooling, I've read many encouraging homeschool resource books, but Ignite the Fire is one of my all-time favorites. Do you need some mega-inspiration? As a family who loved unit studies and always read aloud wonderful living books together, I was so inspired by the FIRE method and all of the many great ideas throughout its pages. The author's suggestions for FIRE book studies set us on a path to explore several of the books she mentions plus numerous others on our own. "A child learns what he digs for himself," became a theme of ours, as we proceeded into many delightful years of learning, and a closer walk with our Guide--the Father of Truth.
